Accountant (Office Manager)
Our client is the world's largest manufacturer of ear-piercing systems and accessories. Based on-site in Spain, you will be part of approximately 1,000 employees worldwide, working under our parent company located in Los Angeles, California. As our Accountant (Office Manager), you will organize and coordinate accounting tasks, administration duties, and office procedures for our European headquarters in Austria. Your role is key in maintaining a pleasant work environment and ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
Requirements
Several years of professional experience
Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
Excellent English language skills. Knowledge of Italian will be valued.
Comprehensive knowledge in finance and accounting (SAP)
Analytical, structured and process-oriented workflow
Open, communicative, enthusiastic, and persuasive personality
Advanced word processing and computer skills as well as MS Office Package
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day activities for the Spanish branch in Madrid and the Italian branch, including business meetings, booking meeting rooms, conference calls, and events
Provide pre-read documents, distribute meeting materials and reference materials
Act as main point of contact for third parties and ensure efficient arrival and departure to meetings
Act as key point of contact for organizing site activities
Coordinate with IT and suppliers on new technology setups and logistics
Maintain office conditions and arrange necessary repairs
Operational and administrative responsibility for accounting
Advise and support management
Manage or participate in accounting projects
Prepare budget planning, forecasts, and ad-hoc analysis
Prepare financial statements and reports to the European headquarters
Serve as contact for banks, insurance, tax consultants, and auditors
